SAFETY

Whatever type of shooting discipline you enjoy, safety is paramount. No one can call back a shot once you have pulled the trigger!

  1. ALWAYS keep the gun pointed in a safe direction.
  2. ALWAYS keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot.
  3. ALWAYS keep the gun unloaded until ready to use.
  4. Know your target and what is beyond
Be sure you have identified your target beyond any doubt, and be aware of the area beyond your target. This means observing your area of fire before you shoot. Think first. Shoot second.
  5. Wear eye and ear protection as appropriate
